A unique and colorful seaside village on the island of Martha's Vineyard, Menemsha represents the relaxed and playful attitude that permeates ocean-side living. Derived from the Native American word for “still waters” and the blues of the sea and sky, MENEMSHA BLUES was founded in 1994 by Bob Fuller to create clothing and accessories that are relaxed and comfortable with an easy style and peaceful point of view. Our signature design is a classically rendered bluefish, and our clothing line is made from natural materials. To view our sophisticated, relaxed, comfortable clothing for ladies, men, and children, you can visit us online or at one of our three island locations: in Vineyard Haven across from the ferry landing, in Edgartown on Dock Street, or our original store in Menemsha Village.
Founded in 2011, MOONRISE MEDIA is a multi-media company representing authors, filmmakers, and fine artists from its home base on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. MOONRISE MEDIA’s first publication, JAWS: Memories From Martha’s Vineyard by Matt Taylor (www.mvremembersjaws.com), with foreword by director Steven Spielberg, has received worldwide acclaim since its release in June 2011, garnering the accolade of Kirkus Reviews’ Best of 2011. MOONRISE MEDIA represents Paul McPhee (www.paulmcphee.com), one of the country’s premiere marine life artists. Paul’s artwork has been featured in major galleries and exhibitions nationwide. His collection of original JAWS art has sold worldwide, and he is currently producing new JAWS-related works to be unveiled at the August 2012 event, JAWSFEST: THE TRIBUTE, on Martha’s Vineyard. Paul has been involved in marine conservation initiatives through the years and has contributed his art to benefit the National Coalition for Marine Conservation and Mote Marine Labs. In accompaniment of his original JAWS art, Paul will be showcasing several original great white shark pieces during JAWSFEST.
